Version 1.0. Effective August 1, 2026.

Third Act Girls Club is a warm, respectful place to meet women and have real conversations. These are the simple things we ask of everyone here.

They are short on purpose. There is nothing here you would not already do with a friend.

Be warm and respectful

Speak to other women the way you would want to be spoken to. You will not always agree, and that is fine. Kindness still comes first.

Disagreement is welcome here. Contempt is not. If a conversation gets tense, you can say so, you can change the subject, or you can step away. Nobody here owes anyone an argument.

Make room for everyone

Our gatherings are small on purpose. Share the space, listen as much as you talk, and let quieter voices be heard.

Some women arrive ready to talk and some take a while to warm up. Both are welcome. If you notice someone has not had a turn, invite her in. That one small thing does more for a gathering than almost anything else.

You are never required to answer a question or share something you would rather keep. Passing is always fine, and no one will think less of you for it.

What women share here stays here

What women share here stays here. Do not repeat, publish, quote, screenshot, or share it outside the gathering.

This is the one that matters most. Women speak openly here about real things, and they can only do that if they know it is not going anywhere. Please do not tell a story from a gathering to someone outside it, even without a name attached, and even when you mean well.

Please do not record any part of a gathering yourself, in any form. Club Conversations are never recorded by us either. During an Expert Session, only the teaching portion may be recorded, and recording stops before anyone is invited to speak. Our Recording Policy has the full detail.

Your Zoom link is for you. Please do not pass it along or bring a guest who has not been invited. We keep our gatherings small so they stay warm, and the host admits members personally.

No selling or pressure

This is a place for connection, not an audience. No selling, pitching, recruiting, or promoting, and no harassment.

That includes the softer versions. No pitching your business in a breakout room, no adding a woman you met here to a mailing list, and no turning a new friendship into a sales conversation.

Use another member’s information only for the friendship you are building here, and never for anything else. When two of you agree to stay in touch, you get her preferred email for exactly one reason, which is to say hello.

Be yourself

Be truthful about who you are, in your profile and in conversation. Come as you are, and let that be the real thing.

You do not have to share everything. You do have to be honest about what you do share.

If something feels wrong

If someone makes you uncomfortable, you can block her at any time, and you can report her to us. An admin reviews every report and takes it seriously. You never have to stay in a conversation that does not feel right.

Reporting is private. The woman you report is not told who reported her, and we will not put the two of you in a conversation about it.

Blocking is immediate and it applies everywhere in the community at once. It is also not something you can undo yourself right now, because we deliberately stop showing you a blocked member’s name, which means the app cannot safely offer you an unblock button. If you change your mind, write to us at hello@thirdactgirlsclub.com and a person will sort it out with you.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services first. We are a small community and we cannot respond quickly enough to be the right call in an emergency.

What happens if the guidelines are not followed

We would rather talk with you than act on you, and most things are a conversation.

When something is more serious, or keeps happening, we may remove someone from a gathering, pause her access, or end her membership. Suspension takes effect right away, which means she cannot sign in or take part while it is in place. If something serious is happening, we may act first and explain afterward.

We make these decisions carefully and we do not enjoy making them. When we do, it is because a woman here needs us to.

The Terms of Use set out the formal version of all of this.

Questions

If anything here is unclear, or you want to talk something through, write to us at hello@thirdactgirlsclub.com. A real person will read it.

We are glad you are here.
